Topic: barry's 2 dozen scandals... | |
---|---|
Here is a full list of the administration’s most egregious scandals. The ones we know about, at least. I’ve added four since the last time we ran the list – an increase of 20 percent!
1. IRS targets Obama’s enemies: The IRS targeted conservative and pro-Israel groups prior to the 2012 election. Questions are being raised about why this occurred, who ordered it, whether there was any White House involvement and whether there was an initial effort to hide who knew about the targeting and when. 2. Benghazi: This is actually three scandals in one: The failure of administration to protect the Benghazi mission. The changes made to the talking points in order to suggest the attack was motivated by an anti-Muslim video The refusal of the White House to say what President Obama did the night of the attack 3. Watching the AP: The Justice Department performed a massive cull of Associated Press reporters’ phone records as part of a leak investigation. 4. Rosengate: The Justice Department suggested that Fox News reporter James Rosen is a criminal for reporting about classified information and subsequently monitored his phones and emails. 5. Potential Holder perjury I: Attorney General Eric Holder told Congress he had never been associated with “potential prosecution” of a journalist for perjury when in fact he signed the affidavit that termed Rosen a potential criminal. 6. The ATF “Fast and Furious” scheme: Allowed weapons from the U.S. to “walk” across the border into the hands of Mexican drug dealers. The ATF lost track of hundreds of firearms, many of which were used in crimes, including the December 2010 killing of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. 7. Potential Holder Perjury II: Holder told Congress in May 2011 that he had just recently heard about the Fast and Furious gun walking scheme when there is evidence he may have known much earlier. 8. Sebelius demands payment: HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius solicited donations from companies HHS might regulate. The money would be used to help her sign up uninsured Americans for ObamaCare. 9. The Pigford scandal: An Agriculture Department effort that started as an attempt to compensate black farmers who had been discriminated against by the agency but evolved into a gravy train delivering several billion dollars in cash to thousands of additional minority and female farmers who probably didn’t face discrimination. 10. GSA gone wild: The General Services Administration in 2010 held an $823,000 training conference in Las Vegas, featuring a clown and a mind readers. Resulted in the resignation of the GSA administrator. 11. Veterans Affairs in Disney World: The agency wasted more than $6 million on two conferences in Orlando. An assistant secretary was fired. 12. Sebelius violates the Hatch Act: A U.S. special counsel determined that Sebelius violated the Hatch Act when she made “extemporaneous partisan remarks” during a speech in her official capacity last year. During the remarks, Sebelius called for the election of the Democratic candidate for governor of North Carolina. more here: http://theulstermanreport.com/2013/08/01/obama-is-at-two-dozen-scandals-and-counting/ |

Possibly inappropriate actions taken by IRS analysts. Nothing to do with President Obama. Also, while conservative groups were targeted for further scrutiny, none were denied tax-exempt status, nor had to wait to continue operation before being granted tax-exempt status. Lastly, liberal groups were targeted as well, because the groups targeted were groups with politically-charged words in their organization names. 2. Still nothing to indicate the White House had anything to do with the problem. The editing of talking points is nothing new. Those are just agreed-upon statements to share with the Press. As to "refusing" to say what Obama did during the attacks could be several things, but I don't see where the Republicans have to know exactly what President Obama is doing at any given moment. Even if we knew that he was conferring with his advisors, would that really change the situation at all? 3. Why shouldn't the DOJ investigate leaks of classified information? It's a crime, and just because one of the accused happens to be a journalist, doesn't preclude him/her from investigation. Every bit of information was retrieved under a subpoena. 4. Same as #3. 5. Hardly a scandal for President Obama. More a squabble in the semantics or nit-picking personal recollections with some minute incident. Seriously, how many hundreds or thousands of documents do you think Holder signs? A list of potential suspects in a subpoena could be hundreds of names, and now Holder has to memorize all of them? Please. 6. F&F is a failure of federal gun laws, or more properly, the absence of appropriate federal gun laws, and the reluctance of various attorneys general to enforce the laws at hand. There was an excellent article about this mess in Fortune Magazine. Look it up. 7. Right. Evidence he "may have known" earlier. His testimony was that he was unaware of a particular fact on a certain date. If, when asked, he claims to know of something that he couldn't recall, then that would be perjury. It would also be impossible to tell without contrary documents, and after hundreds of thousands of documents released to the Republicans investigating, they NEVER FOUND ONE DOCUMENT that disputed his testimony. 8. Sebelius solicited money from many, many organizations, but not to health insurance, nor health care providers, directly. Good luck finding a show-stopper in that boring pile of Republican Hysteria. 9. The Pigford "scandal" is the confusion around a mix of Congressional acts dating back to 1997 and way before President Obama even came into office. 10. The GSA and other conferences costing all that money are amazing, but not really out of line, compared to other industry events or even events in other industries. While it may sound awful that we spend tens of $thousands per person to send government employees on things like this, that's actually about average for things like that. I personally work in the computer industry and have been sent places where I didn't even party all that much, but still cost the company tens of $thousands while I didn't get much work done. Maybe the GSA could be lower-key in their conferences, but it's not illegal or even out of line for the industry. Also, it's been going on since way before Obama. 11. Right, so Obama sent VA to Disneyworld? LOL. 12. Sure. A civilian government employee is suddenly not allowed to make partisan political comments at a speech. When did that start? Seriously, where's the scandal, there? |

Mort, as they carry you out of the room you will scream " don't taze me man! Don't taze me!
Then, and only then, will you realize, "Where law ends, tyranny begins" (William Pitt). |

As much as I like to think, and blame O for everything, it's hard for me to judge a puppet! It's like yelling at a TV! The man has no balls, is not a leader, probably not even an American, or christian as most believe, but is instead a simple puppet for Soros and the banks. The war machine has a big piece of that action, and I'm sure he was shown the Zapruter film his 1st day in office. But it's not hard to know who is running things when his whole inner circle of advisers are all former bank CEOs or representatives. |
