Did you just get bored with the conversation, or did the person rub you the wrong way? Did you sense something about them that turned you off? Or did they not seem to be reciprocating your interest?

Sometimes things appear to be going quite well and the person just disappears and other times I can tell we just aren't interested in each other. The ones that disppear after we've talked for like 4 hours on the phone and laughed and such still baffle me but women aren't known for coming forward and being honest. They often lack the courage to even reply to an email and say they aren't interested when it only takes an ounce of effort and saves you from wondering if they even read your message..

I was chatting with a guy and he just ticked me off.
I actually told him and he would never answer me back
about him being a smart a$$. I guess it is good to find
out in the beginning of a chat that you can't stand someone
instead of wasting time one them!!!

It's not just women, dude. That seems to be the standard protocol on these sites for both genders.

If a guy doesn't reply to me, that's all I need to figure out he's not interested. Maybe it only takes an ounce of effort to reply to one email but it adds up.

If you go into your sent box, you'll see a check mark next to your emails that indicate they've been read.

When there's a lag in the conversation, I just assume they're either busy, not in the mood to chat, don't have much to say at the moment or have been hit by a train.

It's been reported....and please....PLEASE....do not hold me to this.....but it has been reported that when a lag in convo happens that the most likely explanation for this is that the dude's wife found out and then cut off his balls and thus...no more convo. I only say this cause ER's are reporting a massive amount of ball cutting off incidences as of this year. For chicks? Eh...I am sure when her husband finds out that he simply foresees a threesome and thus the wife quickly ends the chat. It should be noted that FOX News broke this story.

I don't get it, all I do is mention that I like to watch Cannibal Holocaust naked, and they stop wanting to chat with me.

So I feel obligated to answer:
