I am Captain Lunar Shadows! Sailing the seas on my pirate ship Radiance! Only Mountain Dew and Powerade is allowed on my ship! (No Rum!) As well as plenty of Oreos and Nacho Cheese Doritos! so you do live on tbe ocean! I was right! just remenber Captain, this ol' salt knows a thing or two about a thing or two now if you want to keep the scurvy away your going to need lots of apples and there's two rules, if I may Captain 1) an Apple a day keeps the Dr away 2) one bad apple spoils the bunch think I got the rules backwards cuz ya can't have an apple a day if the bunch is spoild!

They have very comfortable beds under the sea that they'll be happy to share with you! Yohoho and a bottle of dew!

Uh, try citrus fruit instead. yes limeys but originally the British sailers would fill their ships with apples in the1600 as it was BELIEVED it could prevent scurvy, hence:the origin: apple a day keeps the doctor away...one bad apple spoils the whole lot. later they were know for sucking on limes..ect..

"one bad apple spoils the whole bunch" they had no findings, but think the origin was a Chinese proverb that was " one mouse droping spoiled the pot of rice. scurvy first came about in times of penetrating the Indian & Pacific oceans in 1499 it was proven in 1753 by Royal Navy Doctor which wrote a book at that time, that infact it was a vitaminnC deficiency but there was still scepticism up to 1932 all though the Royal Navy excepted the proof, didn't take all the necessary precautions for a few decades. {{googled info}}
