No slight to folks whose native tongue is not English. And, it's great you practice to learn another language. I applaud your efforts.

Here comes the however.

If you're looking for a mate in your vicinty, wouldn't it be wiser to solicit one in your home language?

mich auch lol

perhaps those folks are looking in private message in their own tongue, but this is an engish speaking site so if they want to participate in the threads they need to use english.

i also applaud those efforts because there is no inidication that this is ever going to be anything but an english speaking forum.flowerforyou

It takes a long time for me to grasp another language. I can barely remember SOME french, but then it goes out of my memory again. You don't always remember everything they taught you at school. laugh.

I do not recall reading any site rule requiring the use of the English language in the forums.

Actually the site does not have any rules on language at this time nor has it ever...

We prefer that all use English in order for everyone to understand what they are saying..

So far as anyone else does the Mods use a translator in order to see what is being said. If it becomes a problem then there is a possibility the rules may change. But at this point we have not had too many issues on the situation.

But...........we do not encourage for others to use other languages besides English... I assure you if anyone thinks they can by pass the Forum Rules by doing so, they will be dealt with just as those that think by passing the filters and posting words they are not suppose to on the forums will be...

I do my best! * Sorry for my awful typos every now and then, I can get quite insecure about it, but at least I'm trying here * =D

Wiser, maybe. Easier, definitely.

Good thing I'm not looking for a boyfriend/partner/lover. =D I'm here just to make friends.

To me being on this site is a rich cultural personal experience cause I get to know something more "real" about living in other countries. It has been interesting to learn about our similarities and our differences too, speaking about nationalities, ideologies, believes, or even as persons or individuals.

I have a lot of respect for those whose native languages are other than English
Because i know how much i struggle with translation and understanding of their languages
It takes time dedication and much practice to master a language other than your native tongue
And i for one am appreciative of their efforts to communicate with the English speaking world..

Hello world i am so happy to communicate with you !

I'm not shy.
I moved towards Mexico and liked many of the women I met there.
Had fun learning the language and make jokes about the mistakes I make.
I've learned, the best way to a language, or pretty much anything else, I need to have fun with it or it needs to be really interesting.

Oh :( Sorry to hear that.

Cutting is really a bad idea. I get why you may think I would, but I faint at the sight of blood, so it wouldn't be something I could do to myself.

There weren't any schools in Canada?

I'm no good at languages. They slip away from my memory. Just like maths. laugh
