It was honestly a combination of things, one I had fun with it in the past, two the second time around was because of a divorce and the fact that I was in the Military...expand my 'dating pool' because honestly the women who where on my ship didn't present many options(except one who just asked me to get her preggers so she didn't have to go on the next deployment...ummm no thanks lol). I came here at first to write poetry as an outlet for far to many emotions. In the process I did meet a few really cool people..one in particular..but that didn't work out, but a person who none the less had an impact on my life at that point in time. I come back on occasion to post a new piece of poetry or just to see what's happening in this community...it's a fun place. Not that you asked for all that lol. But that's it, came to expand dating pool, emotional outlet, stayed because of a select few really cool people. Now that i'm in a relationship with someone I only pop in occasionally. :).

I'm here because my job doesn't give me a lot of free time to go out and meet girls and I've gotten tired of meeting flaky superficial girls where I live when I do go out. The other type of girl I keep meeting is the one with so much baggage about men that I never even stood a chance before I tried, so when I encounter that... I don't even try, I really don't have the time to deal with the trouble/stress. I've been single for nearly three years after breaking up with an ex-fiancée I was with for about 6 years in total. Since being single, I've met many gold-diggers and many flaky superficial girls whose only contribution to a relationship was a pretty face and a hot body and I've also met many very average girls with serious issues who thought of themselves as being so hot that a guy was lucky they even talked to him... again, with nothing to intelligent contribute to a conversation. So I'm here with no expectations, and so far, the forums are pretty cool, good conversations, interesting people and hopefully someday, a hot intelligent decent girl I can hit it off with. @SperenzaSutton: Disicableme is right, we're not all the same and if you enter the situation with that pre-disposition, you'll be a self-fulfilling prophet... just a tip. I would agree on two accounts: the woman and Canuck fan I remember game 7 in 94, it was you n me n no Bobby Orr

I didn't know this site was for interspecies dating. I thought it was to meet new people. But you guys are here to date fish. Guess I joined the wrong damn site. I think u have a really nice sense of humor. Thanks! As far as I can tell most people like my sense of humor. I've had a few people on twitter and other sites that blocked me because they took a joke personal and it wasn't. Some I wonder if they were even paying attention. But thanks for laughing. The pleasure's all mine, IzzyPhoto1977. How's your 'fishing' going? Are u paying attention? Well I have msged a couple people. One I expect is probably a scammer and got no replies. Fishing for scammers on here is hard. But I think I'm making friends. hahaha What am I supposed to be paying attention to anyway? lol |

Yeah but all of Vancouver made up for the very next day by tearing the city a new one. lol not to mention 2010-11 game 7 loss to the Bruins they were still laying out charges a few months ago. I think the city was gettin' it win or loose.

Well no riots this year since the cup was cancelled after the first round. I heard something about Toronto choking but AFAIK that was just some silly rumour since there were no games after May 7th. The Ginger NinJa is gone but at least we still have Luongo and now we have the Tort... so let's if there can't be a cup in 2014. |

I walked in there once wearing a Canucks jersey and the staff and ex-pats all stared me down but the local patrons couldn't sense the impending riot... it was hilarious. I'll see if I can't make a convert out of SperenzaSutton yet
