In all fairness, Adam takes a position that, to the average person, must seem very extreme - and maybe it does even seem that he's a quack. I follow some of his YouTube stuff but I disagree with quite a lot of what he says.

I get that you're pissed that you feel someone essentially insulted your friend. However, what you go on to say in your post is deeply flawed, I think. No-one set out to make this a dick-measuring competition, so your "10 times the man" comment is provocative and, if I may say so, unnecessary.

Your second point - that someone who hasn't gone to war has no right to judge someone like Adam - has some problems too. Taken to the extreme, I could interpret it to mean that Adam earned the right to come back to the States and do whatever he wants, and that he can only be challenged by other vets. That's absurd, of course. What Adam's doing is contributing to the dialogue about the future of the US - something he has every right to do, but also something that others have a right to disagree with (and, alas, to think and to say that he is a quack). I think Adam would be the first to defend Lpdon's right to his opinion, don't you?

I can respond to that in part.

You are new, lack a history of the players, or sentiments and comments of days gone by.

Due to that history fur has been know to fly.

I know Adam as a friend, his character was insulted even after I had made that point. Even I don't defend all of Adams actions, and this was a foolish move on his part that he was warned against... and knows he will pay for, by what means only the future will tell.

BUT.... he stood on his convictions of what "HE" felt was right for his peace of mind. He has been to war, which less than 1% of most Americans will ever do, fought for the right to express and stand for his convictions, as well as LPdons, but no, and he will be the 1st to tell you, he broke the law and must now pay. So neither he or I feel he has the right to break the law, but unjust laws will never be changed without the blood or sacrifice of patriots.

To call Adam a quack, is to spit in the face of people like MLK, Rosa Parks, the founding fathers, etc, and it is such beliefs and the people who bear them that create the need for people like those mentioned.

You are part of the solution in America, or you are part of the problem.

If you are part of the problem you bear the ire of any who love this country, despise what is being done to her by those who would ridicule, persecute or otherwise defame her brave defenders.... whatever caste they may dwell in, or the degree of their effort.

I stand by my statement!

While I agree with his right to his belief, I call him on his own character in defaming, besmerching, or discrediting a defender of this great country!

OK, that's a solid response. I'll keep an eye on this thread and try to get a clearer picture of things. I may have more points / questions as time goes on - hope you don't mind.

Earlier I suggested suspending all statutes passed after to Nov. 1913 but based on the following video, I'd like to add that Maybe the 14th amendment should be replaced by the the original 13th amendment; or maybe the country should return to natural law (Lord Coke's common law) principles altogether.
