This is one subject that drives me nuts when people do this on the internet. Advertising that you're pot smoker when it is not a totally legal thing to do is really stupid. The reason is because even if it is legal in the state that you live in. It is not legal according to Federal law. Any law official can arrest you for the breaking of a Federal statute. So to me advertising they you like to smoke weed on the internet is about like being in prison and bending over to pick up the soap. Maybe no one will doing anything. But do it long enough and someone is bound to do something. Do you seriously think there are internet drug patrols actually doing this? You are more likely to get a knock on your door for downloading a Madonna song than you are for announcing you smoke pot. That is to say it ain't happening. Hell I can say I like to kill my neighbors, hack up their bodies with a rusty saw and hide the body parts around my neighborhood for jollies, and that won't get a serious look these days. BTW the way I totally do this. |

You could just be an unlucky S.O.B. who some office in his free time sees a post like that and maybe because they had a bad day and know where you live. They now have enough to get a warrant and bust ya. Haven't you heard of the retarded people who get busted because they broke into a house, threw a party and posted pictures of it on the internet? Don't tell me that stuff doesn't happen. |

Here's another thing to consider. If you have a boss who is very anti drug and he or she sees something about you smoking pot. Well chances are if you actually were and they tell you to take a test the next day. You've just lost your job.
I've heard of people getting fired for stuff like that before. It only takes once. |

Don't tell me that stuff doesn't happen. Even an officer in his free time having a bad day won't do that. Do you know the amount of effort and work he would have to go to for such a tiny pathetic payout? He would be laughed out of his badge by his fellow officers and probably busted down to bicycle cop at a mall for taking it before any judge or prosecutor. Here is an easy way to test it out. Walk up to any cop, and announce you like to smoke dope. See what happens. Unless you have a joint hanging out of your mouth when you do it, you should be pretty safe and even if you do you still might be. Even people caught possessing it get let go often times with a warning or stern speech. That whole breaking into a house thing is completely different since someone filed a report eventually which the police have to act upon given enough information, and someone basically announced who did it. |

This is totally true. In fact it is on the rise. Which is why some people are trying to get laws in place to prevent it. |

God made weed...... Man made speed...... Who do you trust more I agree. Anyone can get a script from the doctor for some pills. Hell they give them away as samples. Big business running the country as always. |

I never did the brownie thing. It always seemed like a waste of bud to me. I mean how in the hell do you smoke a brownie. cool picture...
Hey Basket. I've been around. |

I mean in Colorado we have had prescription medicinal pot legal for quite a while now. But now recreational pot is also legal. You are allowed to grow it in your home for recreational purposes. I think you are limited to so many plants per person.

I once worked as a volunteer on a suicide helpline. Some were on drugs when they phoned us up. They were in life situation's where they had little room to escape their problems? I don't wanna come across as if I'm trying to lecture anyone, so I'll just say it's up to you. I have one or two friends offline who smoke weed, so do a few of my neighbours, and at the end of the day, what CAN you do about it? I do however, try not to make a fuss about it, because those two I've been friend's with since I was about eight. And they may suddenly think I'm trying to turn against them. It's difficult when you respect them, yet hope it doesn't end up harming their inside's. I did see one of my friend's almost on his death bed, and he told me he knew it was his own fault for dabbling in "stuff". I remember how Cory Monteith was still an awesome sweet guy, despite his rebound with his drug-taking. I try my best to get them to an ER, if I see their suddenly sweating, shaking, convulsing. I guess I like to think I'm saving them somehow. We could say the same about alcohol, yet all this law stuff is in the government's hands. Jmo.

When I see and hear of all the dangerous side effect of real drugs (prescription drugs) and then hear how pot does such a good job in place of these altered substances (drugs) with so many different side effects, I think that the government does not want it to be legal because they can't make tons of money on their prescription drugs.
For people with medical problems, it really does help and has less side effects than altered substances (drugs) Pot itself is a plant... it is not a drug. A "drug" is an altered substance that can hold a patent. |

Didn't you know that now even genes can be patented. Monsantos has those soy beans and whatever else that they have engineered. I'm sure if they wanted to they could mess up marijuana plants too.
By the way. I personally don't use anything illegal. I'd prefer not to tempt my fate and stay out of prison so I don't have to be Buba the bull queer's girlfriend. hahaha |

I hope monsanto does not get hold of marijuana and screw that up. I don't use anything illegal either. I'm too old to go to prison. But it's legal in Colorado now. I want some brownies. |
