(If you are serious to get married let me know)
This is a question i have asked myself many times
I used to never have a friends list
Because it always seems to be like that when you do
I think folks friend or accept friends with the best intent
But it is hard to find the time with real world stress and
with all the interaction here when you do find the time to spend a few
I myself can be a real jackass at times so i don't really have a problem with being overrun by friend requests
lol
But i do still consider many of you wonderful folks to be my friends...
flowerforyou
thats a very nice answer

They are just morons that go on networking sites "adding" people to their collection of imaginary friends so that they can look at it and feel better about their pointless existence.

My friends list has people on it that I genuinely like and connect thru emails from time to time.

Honestly unless I have talked to them for a while on the forums I don't even accept friends request.noway

Many do it so they can find you later quicker then digging through all the e-mails if you don't e-mail them regular.

Many of those on the forums I would hope they know I still consider them friends even if they are not on my list... It is just a list here...bigsmile

Don't be bitter because no one wants to be friends with you.

I message with most of my friends off and on as subject matter comes up, but there are a few I've not heard from in awhile.

Maybe they just don't recognize me since I took my pics down. laugh

E-mail is a requirement to make it to My People's list.

I've emailed all of the people on My People's list a number of times throughout the years.smokin

I won't add anyone without this type of contact, either.

Cause no one ever just adds people for the hell of it, right? That never happens here!

You know I will add most if they seem nice, so they feel they have a friend. I always try to steer them to the forums, that is where I interact most with my friends list. Tsk. Tsk.

I'm not saying people shouldn't add others. I just don't add others until there has been some contact first. If I added everyone who sent me a friend request, the list would be huge and full of people who never bother to say anything. I see no point in that. If someone sends me a friend request and they seem legit/have something in their profile that's interesting/are from the forums, I'll send them an email to see what they have to say. If they don't respond, I don't add them.

Oooo, that sounds good. I've been meaning to cull my list but didn't know how....sending an email would certainly make things plain.

Am not just used to inviting people to be my friends....For me,,, it does not really matter if you have me in your list or not,,,and if you there in my list without saying ''HEY'' for a decade i won't worry my brain cuz i too never mailed you for you to reply me...So as long as we on forum,,we just friends..

Ditto. If you send me a friend request and I don't know you from the forums, I don't accept.

Yesterday, I was actually going to start a thread about friends' lists. Thanks! Great minds think alike.
I get friends' request probably like everyone else from all over the world. I get requests from 20 year olds! Those I delete automatically. My kids are older than they!
If I have not seen them in the forums nor ever had a conversation with them, then I don't get it! Why would they want me as a friend?
