I suppose every christain knows what the scripture(holy bible) says about parents and children....that children should respect their parents for their days to be long....But does that mean you shouldn't talk back to your parents if you were annoyed like HELL,,,especially when their(parents) are at fault? I cite this as an example,,,you come back home and mom is been beaten up by Dad,,,and you like ''Dad what has mom done to deserve this?'' and dad said oh,i see! So you;ve come of age to the point of asking me what i so do with my WIFE? Just like adding insult to injury, you know,,,and you start talking back at him which results in him saying all sorts of evil words to you....It's c'mon in my locality,,,and some Dads are used to saying evil words to their kids...Just wondering how effective is that when the kid is not at fault???

I do not think we are called upon to respect amoral behavior,,even from our parents
but there is a way to speak respectfully, in any case,,,whether it be parent or child |
