Okay ladies,
We see each other in a public place (store, restaurant, etc.) is it okay for me to approach you if you are with your children? or Do you think we should give you space and hope to see you again another time? curious

Just saying "Hello" should be allowed anywhere.
Hug or anything else in front of children, is at parents discration.
GOOD maners are always correct.

feel free to start a conversation, but remember that my children are my first priority...

it also depends upon where we are. if it could be seen as out of place, wait for another time.

I think its totally fine to go up to a woman if she has her kids with her. Shows her that her having children does not bother you and that they don't intimidate you.

If you live in a big city..then good luck trying to bump into her again...but if you live in a small island such as myself...dont worry you will probably see her at Walmart, grocery store, dentist, doctors, etc....LOL

Well I would say just use your best judgement,See how you think her day is going & well as the kids,My daughter probably wouldn't care solong as the man has respect. And she also would be watching to see how I'm responding to the gent.Matters were you are to, I would say don't approach her in a dark parking lotlaugh that just might get you hurt.bigsmile

If you were inside..I would say yes, I see nothing wrong with that at all. As long as you show manners and you are polite, I promise you this, if a man walked up to me and my sons were there....they would make sure he was polite!!

It would be okay, just keep it brief and offer your phone number if she is interested, never ask for hers

When a man approached me one time in a store my girls just kept watching him and made sure he knew it.....after we walked away my younger daughter said "Mommy, you talked to a stranger!!" I had to explain that since he was polite and we were all together it was okay for me to do that.

So yes the key is respect and be polite...
