Our breath mingles Silently our breath mingles Silence into the night Our exhale is steamy Soaked with our plight Two hearts are we Beating as one The sound of a parent And the one is done Gaze out the window Follow his retreat Know you’ll love him Next time you meet

Awww lovely! It reminds me of a favourite poem by James Laughlin called I Want To Breathe I want to breathe you in I’m not talking about perfume or even the sweet odour of your skin but of the air itself I want to share your air inhaling what you exhale I’d like to be that close two of us breathing each other as one as that
