I'm so fed up with these insulting franchise tactics that are
Completely insulting customers. I go to this overly popular Canadian coffee & donut franchise which allso Sells soup & sandwiches, mainly to go. they just have a monopoly, its just a none stop business. the problem is how they teach their employers to sell up on there combinations as the price is fixed for a certain size & kind of drink and donut Example: if your ask if you can have a certain drink or size then the answer is always you can have what ever you want, insteed of telling you what the combo includes for that price. I finally just let this one "have it" by saying " I realize its all for sale thats not what I'm asking! quit trying to sell up to me. they have a few kinds of donuts that they dont honer in the prize but only ask you "what donut would you like. I just got so annoyed tonight from her selling up and not answering what I was asking with the drink that I ended up with a chilly combo, that was another thing that pissed me off when she said what size of chilly do I want? "What does it come with" ......" you can have any size you want" wrong f....n answer! So I go back and now its the guy so I explained I was trying to order the soup & sandwich combo but with a chilly substitute for the soup, which they agreed in the past. I turns out that they only answer yes to everything, yes we realize its all for sale & your happy to take our money....but thats not what were asking & they no it and deliberately Ignore you. turned out my chilly substitute spiked the price from $6+ to 9+ ...what a joke, I said no. I think I'm going to dress down the manager tomorrow over their tactics. I just think about the all the people their misleading, the elderly comes to mind. So what do you guys got? ...anything ! what pushes your "hot buttons"? and dont say cry baby's on line |

There's two shows I listen to, on a certain radio station. I like them for their comedy and conversation, but that means having to put up with hearing the same tunes they played all day. Not only that, their adverts are pushy and demanding. "Go to the BBC Website and download the podcast". Yes we get it. Hell.

Wow, Timmy's is playing that kind of game now? {{{ Via }}} you made me laugh, I wasn't sure if I was allowed to say who it was (name dropping) are they in the lower 48 as well now, I've always wonderd that as I haven't been there for 10-11 years. I was thinking of a sneaky way of saying it Like this comedian that had a gripe with an airline and said "I wont say the name of the airline but I will say ....its an .....America airline ...so now where's you story? Too late for story time? tommorrow you say! Ok then, we'll hold you to it. |

Wish we had them here in Cleveland (and it's odd that we don't). My gripe? Probably automated self-service systems on the phone lines for Every. Flippin'. Thing. |

Too much to list but I hate hate HATE The automated phone things too.. When I call a company and get an automated directory I just keep hitting "0" (for operator), I usually get a person who can direct me from there instead of going through all the "press one", "press two, etc..." But then there's those automated phone sales... Absolutely drives me crazy AND uses up my phone minute. I save them as Bad, Baaaddd Badde (ETC...) Then if I get another call that has a B,A,D combination I know it's just a sales call and don't answer Worst offender: Those stupid automotive extended warranty companies And I AM on the DO NOT CALL LIST |

Yep, there brutal, I love the greyhound one...trying two match up your departure & destination City's .....ok now i need to know what city you'd like to go to... beginning with the letters a d c d push 1..... Yes am not surprised that they would be down there, its easier to operate a company across the border than it is to get a work Visa by a long shot. I contracted in the 90s in the AK.. just not allowed to touch the tools. mabyee they bought up properties for franchise locations as the Canadian dollar was quite I bit higher for a while, think the American $ is just above again, which Is better for Canada if we're about 10 poins less. Thanx |

Oh jeez, call centers in India.
Only reason I can understand them is because I dated a guy from India for a while back in my twenties and got used to listening to him and his roommates talk. |

Well I have nothing against folks from India, but when I am told to push one for English and have no idea what they are saying, its annoying. |

Its supposed to be law here , to be a federal gov worker that you need to be bilingual & canadian Citizen. I dont know? there's always a skeptic in the crowd! just wait another 10 years as the doors open to any one with foreign money or an educated to fill all the boomer jobs. thick foreign accents will always be the norm. |

Like my sons 16 , thats just going to be normal for them we've seen a lot of changes since the 70s, incredible! Not just the technology but the western culture and values. |

((Shy girl))) Thats kind of a funny senerio, normally one listens to the station for the music or they would have slot times for say a comedy laugh tracks or do you like the bantering and shenanigans with the DJs? Some DJ do wreck good Music aswell, just wear that old classic rock out, and to me it should be like a fine wine. Xoxo |
