Scammers &/or liars get bored within a very short period of time. You get to know more about someone with whom you have communicated for a longer timeframe. Then the decision to visit or arrange a meeting is much better founded with hopefully better opportunity for positive results. JMO

Well, I still know my Tae Kwon Do from military training and use so I feel "safe" going over there.
If not, well, you don't live forever anyway and sometimes in life you have to take a risk to get something. |

Thank you all for your comments and advice. I did receive such an email when I was on another dating site, it was a few years ago now, from a lady who said she lived in Florida USA, I live in the UK. I did not take up the offer, just declined and said thanks but that I was looking for someone closer to home, which was true. If it was a scam I could not see it, but it did not progress beyond the first email so maybe we didn't reach the punch line. Were it to happen to me today, I think I would try and get to know them better before making any decision as many here have said, and you are right there is no rush, and the weather is a lot better in Florida!

Not me since 40,50 and even 60 yo F members {not all}
Think they should have 20 something matches So who would i vacation with The 70 something yo's ? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'll PASS thanks ! {no offense} But i do love being here And interacting with you folks ....sometimes lol

Hi KiK So this is interesting. Your saying that your running into a lot of women that are window shoppers that are looking for younger guys? I've been wondering about this myself. I wonder how many here are really just window shopping and not being realistic about finding someone. I might or someone might want to start a thread on this. There's nothing wrong with window shopping BTW (that's what the internet is about). It's maybe helpful though for those who are looking to know what the shopping lists really have on them. |

Window shopping is definitely another thing to think about.
 . I wonder if expectations are regional. E.g, here in England, the further north you go, the less hollywood-like everyone looks, whereas if you went more South, like Essex, or Liverpool, they would look more done-up. I'm not saying some are more down-dressed than others, I'm just wondering if what they look for in a lover is a regional thing. Sorry, confusing.
