I think profiles are there to be looked at.
If someone looks at me, they are in no way shape or form required to send me a mail. Don't worry about why they look. Just delete them from your "looked list." Simple & easy |

I tend to look at profiles when someone says something interesting or stupid

If I'm responding to someone here on the forums, I'll usually look at their profile first, I guess to get a feel for the person, see what they're about. I don't have time to e-mail EVERYBODY, tho I wish I did.

if they look at you a hundred times, either they're too shy to say anything, can't figure out what to say, you changed your default pic and they thought you were someone new, or they're making fun of you to their friends.
or they were just curious. sometimes that happens too

Sometimes I peek if someone catches my eye in a certain forum, but i don't peek to often and if I do I at least say hello.

Some men feel that it is safer if the women who like them by reading their profile and seeing their pics, contact them first. So he hopes that when she sees that he is viewing her profile every now and then, she will contact him, if she likes him; otherwise she will not, and he might stop viewing her profile for it is wasting his time. He might still look at it because he just likes her plenty. And I do not believe that is stalking.
