Topic: When did WW III Start | |

No, really, gardenforge - I stand corrected - YOU tell us
how many civilian deaths in Vietnam - and then tell us if you think it was all worth it. |

what the hell does the war in Viet Nam have to do with terrorism by islamic radicals? Further if you want 3 million dead, look to Cambodia that many and more were killed by your socialistic brothers because we didn't stay and finish the job in Viet Nam.

Well, YOU said my figures were wrong regarding the vietnam death toll in civilians. And what does "finish the job" mean? -
Kill EVERYONE and rape the pets? - Why do you think we did'nt "finish the job" in gulf war 1? - and you REALLY don't see an interchangable bogeyman from "commie" to "raghead"? |

So.. I'm a "socialist" now, am I? - (Watch it, or I'll have to start calling YOU "genius" or "Einstein", too..)

Hey Forge:
What I meant was, when the events of the 80s were listed, right after that it said Clinton treated them as crimes rather than acts of terrorism(not the exact words but you get the meaning). I got the impression that the report was tying them into Clinton. If that was not the intent, then I apologize. We agree to respectfully disagree sometimes. Unlike some others on here who think fifth-grade schoolyard comments are still funny. |

Vietnam War - 60,000 deaths
Post Vietnam War - 2-3 Million starved and executed. Last time I checked, 3,000,000 > 60,000. We were winning Vietnam, if we had stayed and allowed South Vietnam to stabilize, we could have saved millions of lives. Now they live in abject poverty under the rule of a dictatorial socialist government. If you have any intelligence you will never mention Vietnam again. You and your socialist buddies should be ashamed of what happened there, pulling out our military while they were winning and allowing millions to die in the bloodbath that followed. The fact that you would mention Vietnam in a discussion about Iraq is ironic, because WHEN we pull out of Iraq before the job is done, the same kind of bloodbath will happen again. I say "when" and not "if", because I know that the Democrats will pull out of Iraq, I feel that the Iraqis have little or no hope of living in a democracy and many of them have no hope of living at all once we pull out. |

For some more insight into the Vietnam story I recommend Nelson DeMille's book "Up Country". Its an anecdotal reflection on many of the battles and the chronology of the war, with a fine measure of sarcastic wit and some good old fashioned adventure.

well, I suppose the US would of stayed in Vietnam if there had been enough oil to go for, like in Iraq.

did anyone see the news about bush wanting to add the iranian guard to the list of terrorist organizations?
iran has already promised some sort of action if this happens. |
Iran breaks promises like that regularly.

In retrospect, I would tend to say that WW3 Started at some randome point after 1952 when The Builderburg Group was formed and decided to distroy The USA and create a One World Dictatership...
Choose your point, but be sure that ALL AMERICAN LEADERS AFTER JFK WERE SELLECTED NOT ELLECTED... So exactly where dose that leave the rest of us??? HINT, WE ARE IN VERRING DEGREES OF Totally screwed over... |

Who cares?
Lots of AMERICANS care about this country. Called the "Silent Majority." |
I care!
If you cared so much then you would do something to stop the war!!!

Caring about your country is one thing........arguing about the exact date of WW3 is another...

Just stop the 'war'....
Be nice if it was that simple...well we could stop it just like we stopped the Korean 'war' and the Viet-Nam 'war', we could surrender, tuck our tail and bring our forces home...then all would have been in vain. We could then watch the blood bath in Iraq and Iran on tv. We are not at war with Iraq. Congress has not declared war on anyone since ww2. We are engaged in a 'police action'. On the other hand, as Gardens' post points out, the terrorists declared war on us in 1979. So, why not plead with the terrorists to stop the war? |
