How can God give us what is not available?

God can do anything but that requires a miracle.

What shall God take one of my ribs and turn it into a woman?

Yes he can do that for he already demonstrated that with the creation of Eve, but it would be silly to expect that to happen now.

So tell me what miracle can God do today under these present times?

Would you like him to zap you and make you fall in love with me?

I think you would not, so would he do it to some other woman?

God cannot give me what's not there, he cannot make a woman like me, well he could but I do not think God would be that cruel laugh

what is not 'available'....?

I am not a Christian, but I grew up as one and so I am sure of what I'm about to say.

Nowhere in the Bible or any othe Christian teachings does God promise you a mate. It is not God's responsibility to find a suitable Christian woman for you. And, nowhere does it say that a lack of such a mate for you gives you the right to sin. The wages of sin is death. It does not say "the wages of sin is death unless God doesn't give you what you want".

If you were homeless would you feel justified in taking someone else's home? You could say, "Well, I have to do it this way because God has not given me a home and he could if he wanted to."

It's absurd. You actually blame God for your own decisions to sin.

Nope. It doesn't. If you call yourself a Christian then be a Christian. My advice is to let it go and live a happy life. But, nobody asked me for my opinion.

I believe it wouldn't..

What's your thoughts....

To many people who are Christian it does matter. I am not religious, but I have a personal relationship with Christ. And, it matters to me what type of man I connect up with.

As a Unitarian-Universalist, I need to be with someone who can be open-minded about religion. There's actually a pretty wide range of beliefs with which I am comfortable, and as long as he feels the same way about that, we should be good.

Religion never matters if there is a true relationship .

If egos, culture or philosophy encounter as to life style or belief there is no humanism.

For me, it wouldn't matter unless my partner insist me to follow her thoughts -:) I truly believe it's all about mutual understanding and have respect to your partner's (her/his) believes and views.

It's not only with religion, applicable for all. Do you disagree?

There are two different thoughts here. We have Religion and Christianity. When it comes to Religion you need Love, because without love there is no Religion. But when it comes to Christianity you need Faith, without Faith you can not be a Christian anybody can become a Christian.

--In broad sense......Religion means humanism, we all are creature of God, a universe identity.
--In narrow sense.....Religion means a community, with its own tradition & custom with identified God.
Religion does matter or not, its depend on personal level of growth, security, pleasure and tradition of society.
--
to me, honestly it matters...but its in broader sense , of course, no vacancy.

Yes it does , think of this . The both of you are different religion now you would have different values on things , so you don' t like fish but she does .what would happen if everyday you come out from work and she cooks fish ???? Problem comes
