John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

It's important to understand that no one can come to Jesus unless drawn by the Father.

This is apparent with all who reject Him for whatever excuse or reason.

"The Talmud is a Rabbi's interpretation like a Christians commentary".

Saying that the Talmud is written by A Rabbi is INCORRECT. It is written by MANY Jewish scholars through time. Just as the bible is not written by one person. The Talmud is not one person's account.

What is so frustrating to me is that Christians just want me to accept their faith on blind faith.

Jews are told to question. It is perfectly okay to, at an appropriate time, get into it with your Rabbi about your thoughts on Judaism, God, the universe, etc. In fact, it's encouraged.

To convert to Judaism, takes years of study and ceremonies and you are not just allowed in. You have to know your stuff to some degree.

Some sects of Christianity, not all, just require you to accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior. I think this does a disservice to those who are true Christians because those who do not study are given the same credence and allowed to go around espousing that they are Christians and what they think Christian beliefs are whether or not they are correct.

1 thing I am not Jew messianic jew , Christian ect. I am a Yahwist.

because of faith I have by chance run into some of the formost Jews of the world. These men respect what I have to say. Why? Because I do my best to uphold the Torah.

Ever heard of Hellel? all Jews have. whats funny is this Rabbi they hold so dear more than Josephus has the same name as a character in IsaYah 14:12

Yet its been hidden from the scriptures.. look that name up in a concordance and see what the Hebrew says.

You are right about Blind Faith.. You probally won't find any believers such as me and my brethren in the Faith that welcome all questions. During the Feast of Unleaven bread which starts the day after Passover for 7 days we all come together welcome anyone to come in and we look at what we believe with no questioning left without an answer.. If we do we search and search until many come to the same conclusion and then write about it in Magazines we have and booklets and asking anyone who see's this differently to please let us know.

My people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge. we must have witnesses to prove the point.. Their is safety in numbers and our Safety is in Messiah Yahshua

Thank you for your input. It was very informative and different. I have attended both Reform temple and Chabad. For services, I like Reform. For holidays and education, I favor Chabad.

I have recently tried to get into Christianity because I have so few Jewish friends. I can't. There are too many things I disagree with in the New Testament and too many things about the Torah and just plain Jewish tradition that are sacred to me. The more I studied the New Testament and talked to people, the more I just shook my head.

I understand exactly what u r saying. That's why I searched and found people who I could reason with who believe the NT is a continuation of the old. Saying it is new is is a a misnomer.

I find the only study of any field where the basics are thrown out when you go on to futher study is only with the scriptures.

I went to school for electronics. The basics are ohms law. You use ohms law in all electronics. I don't even know a field of study that after u go through the basics that its no good to you anymore.

I would suppose that trying to go into Christianity and telling you the feasts and health laws are old and swine is good for you it does not make sense. Because it doesn't. Yahweh said he is the same yesterday today and tomorrow. We know in Zech. 14 the Feast Of Tabernacles will be kept. We know that all the disciples kept it all their lives. We know Yahshua kept it.

To say that Yahshua is our example then stop doing what he did which is what made him sinless. ( the keeping of the law, the word, The Torah) and now say those things we are not to do? is beyond me. I do not see how that is following the example of his life. We do not have a physical Temple we have a spiritual Temple. Yet Yahshua their is no recorded evidence any where Yahshua sacrificed in the temple. Why would he? He was sinless. Yet we see Paul while the Temple was standing Pay the expences to end the Nazorite vow in Acts 21. I have yet have a Christian minister explain why this was ok for him to do. This is one reason why people want to throw out Paul. By throwing out the Hebrew which is a very important language we do not even under stand how important names are in the Scriptures. The Jews are/was looking for a Messiah/King who would overthrow the worlds govt. like in Zech 14. By not knowing the names they have lost what was happening when the Jews did this.

Gen 1:1 - Matt 27:23

Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to releasing to the multitude one prisoner whom they wished. 16 And at that time they had a notorious prisoner called Barabbas . 17 Therefore, when they had gathered together, Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to release to you? Barabbas , or Yahshua who is called Messiah?" 18 For he knew that they had handed Him over because of envy.

19 While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, "Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him."

20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Yahshua. 21 The governor answered and said to them, "Which of the two do you want me to release to you?"

They said,"Barabbas !"

22 Pilate said to them, "What then shall I do with Yahshua who is called the Messiah?"

They all said to him, "Let Him be impaled!"

23 Then the governor said,"Why, what evil has He done?"
NKJV

Even the Governor seen this was corrupt.

What about names though?

Yahshua means Yahweh is Salvation

Bar means son abba father. Barabbas means Son of the Father another Messiah who taught they needed to overthrow Rome.

all lost in following a name they have no idea where it came from. Its a latinized greek name.

Yet all this has/was prophesied would come to be abd said they will not understand because Yahweh will send them strong Delusions and they will not understand. Keep the faith. Look at the NT as futher study of the Tanak with a spiritual meaning of the Torah. Yahweh said he never wanted sacrifice but a broken and contrite heart. He'll show you. It's all their and it sounds like u have a very good understanding. It's a Promise and Yahweh keeps his Promises.. Blessings of Shalom.

Num 6:24-26

24 "Yahweh bless you and keep you;
25 Yahweh make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 Yahweh lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace."'
NKJV

Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

What do you Jews tell yourselves when you see the Dome of the Rock?

Some sects of Christianity, not all, just require you to accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior.

All you have to do to become a christian is to have faith in Christ and grow in christ. Since he died on the cross for our sins.

As for study by Jewish standards, which take a long time Jesus warned us about them.

Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Nothing has changed noway

Jesus Kingdom is in heaven and so there is nothing to fight for in this temporal world.

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

In fact the men responsible for the crusades made the same mistake as the Jews had and still do.

You have no temple because God has forsaken you just as you have forsaken him.

Oh great now people are temples and not temples all these metaphors.
So then jesus is a metaphor of a messiah.
God is a metaphor for energy.
Makes sense but why not just call it messiah and energy.
Messiah energy found at any christian based churches located conveniently near you.
Must eat flesh and drink blood to qualify to purchase messiah energy.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 8:33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 8:35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. 8:38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

I forgot who asked for some information on this, but here is a tidbit:

How To Invent A New Savior
by Brad

Used by permission, from the Agnostic Review of Christianity website

Christians will usually refer a new believer to the writings of Paul in the book of Romans to learn the "basics" of their new walk with God. Yet, it would be hard to find a worse example than Paul in regard to honest writing. Not only does Paul contradict the Old Testament (OT) teachings but Paul had no problem distorting any scripture that could be used to further his agenda and religion.

Continuing on:
Rom 10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Paul drops his doctrinal bomb here! According to Paul, Christ (or Messiah) is the END OF THE LAW. However, the law was declared perfect in Psa 19:7 and eternal in Psa 119:152, 160.

Psa 19:7
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Psa 119:152,160
Concerning thy testimonies (statutes), I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments (laws) endureth for ever (are eternal).

Since there is nothing in the Old Testament which states that a king messiah would abolish the Law, Paul has invented his own doctrine in Rom 10:4 and in the process makes a liar out of God, who declared that the Christ (or Messiah) would usher in an era where all God's people would keep the Law and not be given license to ignore it.

Ezek 37:24:
And David my servant (the Christ/Messiah) shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes (laws), and do them.

Paul's new doctrine is completely unfounded and contradicts what God declared in the OT. It also contradicts what Jesus said in Matt 5:18-19. This is the unsound and invented doctrine that Christianity has adopted to escape the requirements of observing all the complicated laws God laid down in the OT.

Paul was looking for Gentile converts to the new religion. Greeks and other non-Jews couldn't be bothered with all the complicated laws that the Jewish God Yahweh set down in the Old Testament. The Law of God was Paul's competition and stood as an obstacle to gaining new converts.

Paul voided the Law with his pen, declaring that Jesus the Christ or Messiah did away with all those complicated regulations by becoming a human sacrifice. The irony is that Christians will go around proclaiming how they believe the whole Bible and want to serve God, worship God, and do the "will" of God. Christians follow Paul, not God. This is the shallow pool of deception that Christianity swims in and tries to lure others into with threats of hellfire.
