my personal observation of the decisionmakers of the republican party is that they happen to often be sexist/bigoted/and egocentric
It has been by personal observation that some people have been taught to see sexism and bigotry where there isn't any. and some have been taught to not see sexism and bigotry where there is unless its blatant,,,, but thats the good thing about all having our own experiences to learn from and our own minds to make up,,,, |

Louisiana Senator Elbert Guillory (R-Opelousas) explains why he recently switched from the Democrat Party to the Republican Party. He discusses the history of the Republican Party, founded as an Abolitionist Movement in 1854. Guillory talks about how the welfare state is only a mechanism for politicians to control the black community. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_YQ8560E1w&feature=youtu.be Good for him! Now that lazy soab better get back to work before I take his chair away! ![]() |

State Senator McCarter Proposes 'Bigot Protection Act' to Protect Rights of Religious Believers 33 Comments / 33 New On Thursday, Kyle McCarter, a downstate Republican representing the 51st Senate district in the Illinois State Senate proposed legislation today to protect "those who hold sincerely held religious beliefs" against same sex marriage. Senator McCarter, at a press conference held on the grounds of the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield, said that with the possible passage of same sex marriage in Illinois, "people of faith have the right not to be discriminated against" because of their Biblically-held and Constitutional protected beliefs. Senator McCarter, who is from Greenville, and who is a graduate of Oral Roberts University, pointed out that "people of faith are called bigots by the Gay Agenda and Gay Marriage Crowd. Well, if we are bigots, let's make the most of it". Later that day, a spokeslady for Senator McCarter noted that that is why he has called his religiously inspired bill the 'Bigot Protection Act' (SB-117). For us, being called a 'bigot' by the Gay Crowd is a badge of honor. Under McCarter’s proposed bill, any person, because of deeply-held Biblical beliefs, should also have their rights protected under the laws of Illinois. According to Senator McCarter’s legislative office this would include protection for: houses of worship, rental halls owned by non-profit religiously focused groups, caterers, florists, bakers, limousine companies and their drivers, even drivers for publicly-owned bus companies who might feel that they are being asked to take partake in a homosexual wedding ceremony by allowing a guest going to a gay ceremony to ride on their bus to that wedding. Said McCarter, "This is part of our deeply held religious beliefs, it is in our Bible" and it is Constitutionally protected. |

The concept of "innocent until proven guilty" applies to all. bigotry: intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself. republican quotes: (on muslims) Gingrich 'We did this — we did this in dealing with the Nazis and we did this in dealing with the communists. And it was controversial both times, and both times we discovered after a while, you know, there are some genuinely bad people who would like to infiltrate our country. And we have got to have the guts to stand up and say no.' comparing muslims to nazis and communists,, not bigoted at all,,, Romney (on those on assistance, low income): There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it -- that that's an entitlement. yep, people paying no tax or gettting aid are all irrelevant 'victims' with entitlement issues,,,,not too intolerant or ignorant of a PRESIDENTIAL frontrunner now, the issue at hand is that political parties are full of individuals, I will be the first to agree with that but, FOR ME< my observation of their most influental mouthpieces,, their behaviors IN CONGRESS, and their words,, is that they play safe haven to alot of bigoted ideas and prejudices against minorities and impoverished peoples,,,, |

All I can say is that liberals are great at distracting from the original narrative. Thanks for hijacking my post. It is in keeping with your party values, those values which have lead our nation, its laws, morals and integrity to the depths of despair it enjoys today. Deception, distraction, lies and cover-up... aren't we a proud nation these days! We allow our POTUS to kill without impunity, even Americans, to spy into our private lives, to dictate our rights into privilege they control, and rewrite law to allow it. Clinton was bad, Bush a fool and idiot, Obozo makes both look like alter boys. I guess the rights of others is not so important as the agenda... Thanks again |

Thanks again Im not sure the issue the OP suggested that someone 'switched' parties for some alleged concern for the black community it doesnt ring of any anti party values, it SUGGESTS that one party has better values than the other it is also not a distraction to touch on the hypocrisy of implying this party has a 'pro black' agenda while so many of its pundits and politicians are clearly not pro black at all or the ridiculousness of trying to back up the claim of 'pro black' agenda by tying it to welfare,, which was , AND I REPEAT, initially set up for WHITE PEOPLE (not black people) and which still has a fairly large portion of whites as well as blacks in need of it,,,, I wont get into the usual what 'liberals' do and what 'conservatives' do nonsense but you are welcome for my participationin continuing the discussion,,,, |

It's a 2 party system, neither have given us anything but failure and degradation to our once great nation.
It's like asking if someone is a Crip or a Blood, when both are violent gangs. There is no citizenry any more, we are not the masters, we can't be trusted so we must be controlled, and over the years that has been the focus of all branches of gov't.... who will rule! As a result, we have the America of today! No pride, No shame, No morals, No values, and No salvation from a gov't with their hand on all the valves that conrol any access to change. The courts, the media, our only instruments of justice, adulterated by the dollar and the privilege it allows. We have lost our voice, our vote (since all who run are chosen for us, and lauded by one side or the other in the media), our rights and privacy. There is nothing more dangerous to liberty than apathy on the one hand and greed on the other! It gives us not the fruits of our labors but slavery to the banks and a taxation system that has destroyed us from within, by wealthy, corrupt politicians who worship the dollar, the power, and make laws "they" are not forced to servitude under. The average person, black, white, red, brown, is attacked on all fronts, causing division, segregation, prejudice, in an attempt to keep us divided.... and it is working well. United we stand, divided we fall! |
