The dragon flies are here
Living life What is it like to fly? To not be anchored to the ground? To see things from different perspectives Unavoidably? The dragon flies are here For a short time they dance for me And if one invited me, I would join them Cut anchors To see different perspectives Unavoidably |

This poem is amazing!! I also love dragon flies, They are like my guardians, they fly with me when I go for walks around the lake and I know that when dragon flies are around in abundance its a sure sign that the mosquitoes are getting eaten all up. :D

Dragonfly . . .
Adjective: (esp. of something written or spoken) Briefly and clearly expressed. Synonyms: concise - terse - brief - laconic - compendious - short ** Well Done, Golden. Well done! I cannot recall a poem so packed with life and flavored with such true expression. This ' brief ' reads well and does bring to mind just how much we ' all ' should wish to join the dragonfly - and fly. Freedom is ours! tommy boy === |
