How Do You Break Up With Someone And Still Let Them Down Gently???

Meet with the person you're breaking up with in person but somewhere private.
Tell them that you're breaking up with them. State your reasons. Don't use the whole "it's not you it's me" nonsense. I'm talking real reasons here. Give them a chance to state their side. Give your answer to their side and then walk away. Simple as that. Breaking up is not hard. You just need to know how to do it. |

recently, we were so good on paper, but would have been so fatal IRL, i just
stated the obvious in that regards, and that was that. not easy, but the truth let us stay friends, at least. |

its not an easy task, its gonna hurt. i broke up with a man i knew cared for/loved me deeply,,i cried for 3 days, even at work,
now we're talking again after several years and im glad,,it just wasnt the right time for me then,,,so dont burn your bridges.. just be gentle, sincere, & straight forward. wish ya the best,,blessings! |

You try everything humanly possible to make it work.
If it still does not, you walk, with no guilt. The reasons should be obvious enough to not have to draw a picture. As a last resort, of course, draw a picture. |

Probably by about 50-100 feet. Prepared to run. |
