Been up & enjoying life. Humidity high, time for the AC.

Morning everyone...It's almost noon and I've only been up about 15 min.. I was sick until about 5am, I think from a small piece of pizza I ate last evening...Feeling much better now..No more pizza!!

I also live in an apartment Hippie and my pool is right outside my front door.. I'm in a garage apartment so my back door opens onto the driveway...so convenient...lol Rain and clouds again today...

Wish I had a pool! Just finished a bunch of yard work and gardening, and am attempting to work up the energy to go and take a shower. But I feel accomplished!

Another horrible storm last night, winds reported over 80mph, huge trees down, cornfields flattened, power out all night and a fire department in a town east of me without a department.. Roof caved in and all fire trucks and equipment damaged. Only the emergency responder truck survived...some men were hurt.. No rain predicted for the next few days... And yes, the roofer fixed my leak early yesterday , now may get a whole new roof, lots of shingles gone...
Lots of cleaning up to do today..

Wow.Carole...sounds like an exciting night!

Eddie was flying in last night..I was taking his truck to him, and when I got there, they were shutting down the airport !! Found a suspicious bag and some one said they had explosives,,sooooo BOMB threat ~~ in Lubbock, Texas...who'dathought it???? it all turned out ok...the bag was innocent and the fool they arrested was mad at someone and talking trash..

People don't seem to realize that they are responsible for their actions & WORDS.

Sat morn,just got a little sprinkle. Now it is supposed to get hot & HUMID. Great midwestern day.

Morning everyone, We officially had a tornado on Wednesday night..It was really scary! Roofer woke me this morning, pounding on the roof making some temporary repairs.. Waiting to hear from the insurance co...

Found out yesterday that my granddaughter and her new husband will be moving back to my area the end of this month as Nate got a job with the Timken Co. in Canton..He's a cost accountant and lucked into a good job.. Kaity will be looking for work after they get settled in..Kaity said she won't have to pack much as Timken is sending a truck to move them..Yea!

Also found out my nephew from Phoenix is getting married in Nov so I will be back from my Houston trip 2 weeks and will be on the road again to AZ.. Going to Florida middle of Aug for a wk with my daughter and son-in-law.. going to be a busy time...

Don, funny that you mention that, as that song was popular when I lived in AZ in the late 70's...It was a joke between my youngest daughter and I when we would go anyplace... "On The Road Again" lol

My air has been on all night, really humid here..

Willie has been our/my favorite,since the 70's. Had the priveldge of having a chat/drink with him, at a private party following a preformance in Omaha. Still think he is the best & enjoy his music.

Humid here also.
