There are many forms of this love... The first shown us was this after everything was freely given... Do not - with a promise: so that it might go well with you.

I dont believe love can be REPETITIVELY Hurtful, physically or emotionally,, I cant accept someone loves me if they behave that way

I think it lines up with Gods plan that we are to submit to each other and cherish each other,,,,I have no problem doing that when I love someone,, but if they seem to have problem doing it in return, I question the 'love'

I just expect respect, communication, and a lack of selfishness,,,

I didn't accept any behavior that was not Godly for real love, because real love is not abusive.

I expect my mate to be respectful and value my opinions even though he does not agree with them.

My insecurity would be, in choosing a Godly man. We do not see want God sees, so it is best to include God in my choosing. I do not fear when my trust is in God.

I have a personal relationship with Christ and I try and include HIM in every decision in my Life.

I think an outstanding feature of love is self sacrifice

my folks always told me (and its reinforced by the bible)

even enemies will hang around you when you are on top
those who truly love you are the ones who stick by you when you fall down and help you see your way back up(even if its not the popular thing or the easy thing)

i love the book 'the 5 love languages' by gary chapman,,everyone should read it! it helps with your partner, kids, family, friends, employer,,,,,words of affirmation n touch are my top,,which in turn creates quality time! win-win situation
service, when both partners focus on serving the other, in love, it is a pleasure not a chore. putting your partner 1st, unselfishness, in a healthy relationship you will get returns.
