I lost some of my e~mails, but I know that the ones that I wanted to save are gone. And no, I didn't delete them by accident.

Am I the only one that has this problem?

I thought that emails were deleted after one month's time?

This was less than 30 days.

Emails are deleted after 30 days, so if they are older messages, that might be the reason.

When we ban a scammer, we sometimes also delete their messages to protect users who've been in contact with them, so that might be another reason. You can check to see if the user who sent them is still active - if they aren't, they might have been deleted.

Other than that, there should be no reason why you would have had your messages deleted other than deleting them yourself.

One final note: we're really trying to have people use for forums instead of emailing us for help, so LaMom, if you could do us a favor and advise anyone who has a question to wait for a forum response rather than email us, we'd really appreciate it.

Because the site has grown so much, we're now swamped with emails and just don't have enough time to reply to people. If you do email us, don't be surprised if we don't respond. Sorry, we hate not being responsive but most of the time, the question the user is asking is one that another forum member can answer, and we're trying to find ways to get people the help they need as quickly as possible.
