Americans can no longer trust the President, Congress, or the courts to protect them, or the reporters, whistleblowers, and politicians on whom our democracy relies. Our government has been massively compromised by campaign contributions and executive secrecy. God Bless Whistleblowers. Manning & Snowden and those yet to come. May the floodgates open and justice be restored . manning is an idiot, while snowden had balls... i disagree, manning was in the military, and he took an oath to keep secrets...imagined warcrimes are not worth throwing your life away for, while spying on the whole of the US and then lying on top of that seems a bit more troublesome... but since you don't live in the US, your opinion is somewhat less meaningfull... |

Nothing new under the sun. Just more being revealed. US has not seen nothing yet. Meaning, there is a lot more out there that has yet to come out. Always has been and always will be. It didn't start with Obama and will not end, when he is out.

There is an elite secret society who take oaths all the time and these oaths that they take are null and void and they never abide by them and they lie all the time because their allegiance is to themselves and to their agenda of world domination. They expect the idiots who work under them to take and abide by their oaths while at the same time are above having to abide by the same oaths. They place themselves above the law, and above any oath. So I say, a person cannot trust even the person or organization or military that they are swearing an oath to. If they find that this person or military or organization is evil and corrupt he is within his rights to disobey the oath, as even some of his superiors have done. A person must first obey his own conscience and answer to that first and foremost. If his evil authorities want to punish him for that, he will most likely accept the consequences. But if you swore an oath to Hitler, and then learned he was insane and murdering children, how important is your oath compared to your HUMANITY? |

Though that may sound like paranoia to some, Snowden has good reason for such fears. He worked in the US intelligence world for almost a decade. He knows that the biggest and most secretive surveillance organisation in America, the NSA, along with the most powerful government on the planet, is looking for him. Sure glad the PRC hasn't got a Dog in the Race! Right from the Alligator's Mouth into the Mouth of the Dragon!

How important is your oath compared to your humanity and your conscience? I live my life on both my humanity and conscience. There is no other way in my opinion . I hope that answers your question. I would put your question to all those involved in this thread. |
