I have received two emails in my hotmail inbox that indicated a certain number of people want to meet me. I was thinking this was related to mutual match...however, when I logged on to the site there was no additional matches listed. What am I misinterpreting?

Just Say Hi has a lot of bugs to get worked out is all I have to say about that.

In other words you may have gotten mail but when you come here you see noting at all.

Well you probably need to change your mail settings to not get noting so that doesn't happen again, and just log on daily or whenever you have a chance so you know what's what.

same thing has happened to me...No idea what its talking about- "4 new people want to meet you, but you havent rated them yet." but when I check mutual match, it says I have no mutual matches at this time.??

Confusing, isn't it? A "mutual match" occurs when two people express an interest in each other via "mutual match," but matches are also computer generated, which has nothing to do with mutual match. Also, anyone is free to express an interest in anyone else, regardless of what the computer thinks. Even more confused now? Good, then I did my job. :)

Aloah nui loa, Hawaiigirl. There are plenty of people to meet in Honolulu. You don't need a computer. Just take a stroll through Waikiki. :)

Here's how Mutual Match works:

- We show you profiles based on your search parameters.
- You indicate "Yes", "No", or "Maybe" to each profile
- If you say "Yes" or "Maybe" to someone, we email them to let them know that someone wants to meet them. A Mutual Match, though, has NOT occurred yet because the other user still needs to rate you.
- When the other user logs in and goes to Mutual Match, we mix in your profile with the profiles that match their search parameters. We do this so that your "Yes" or "Maybe" remains anonymous.
- If, when we show them your profile, they say "Yes" or "Maybe", we then connect you as a Mutual Match.

So, if you receive an email that someone wants to meet you, that means that someone has said "Yes" or "Maybe" to you, but you still need to rate them. You won't see a Mutual Match until you also rate them as "Yes" or "Maybe".

Hope that helps.

It's a challenge....but it would be so much easier for those that have clicked the "Yes" or the "Maybe" and they find they have a mutual match if they would just email you too. I have 31 so called Mutual Matches and have gotten 2 emails from 2 of the mutual matches on my list....the ODDS are slim....but keep plugging along.
