Believe nothing you hear and half of what you see is the old adage here. How do you research a given topic? if anyone says internet search thier fired though. im talking real research here.

Why would internet research not be relevent?

Much printed literature is also available online- what's the difference if you go to the library and pull a journal off a shelf or just pull it up on the computer? And it's cheaper and a wiser use of resources to use onine books and journals.

in 5 minutes you can archive more correct info from the internet then 2 hours in a library, if you know how to search:smile:

There is unsubstantiated information available everywhere- e.g. I would not consider "People" magazine to be a good source for most info...

having the intelligence and concern to actually evaluate the quality of the source is what matters, not whether it is digital or printed.

Many colleges now have all current journals online only instead of buying, sorting, storing and ultimately scanning paper versions.

just like at the library you have to consider the source it came from. when i look up stuff on the net i don't generally use things posted by "goerge".

Aye to anoasis and king,
If you want a short education on researching go to the purdue.edu web-site. For those who want to find acceptable, unbiased sources, you can find a link to teach you. Most major Universities offer this.
You can do just as poor a job of researching in a books or a library as you can on the net.
These site Im talking about will show and teach you all the correct ways to do it!
Or you could just use common sense!drinker drinker
