What he reveals is Revealed easily If I know where to look I am not seeing things Like a flash of sunlight He parts the clouds Just long enough for me To squint my eyes He parts my lips To form a smile When he reveals A sliver of blue sky What he reveals is Revealed easily If I dare open my eyes I want to see things Even the fire that burns Warms And blades that cut Can cut a fine pattern He reveals enough Enough to Keep my eyes open Looking
