When they say to you a sentence like this one do you get it as an insult.. or as a useful advice. I'm trying to prove that there is no good or evil, but there is only the correct interpretation of the events, that happen every day around you |

Two scenarios; if it was me and my sister or best friend,i'd laugh out loud and think of a reply-which would also go along those lines! This is because we are always teasing each other in such manner! But, If it happened on here,i'd take offence since am not that close with anybody on here-it would be quite an insult i'd say! |

To get something across quite clearly, you need to show them whatever you mean. However, if they're blind, your tone of voice will let them know, when you talk about whatever the problem is. Most people are good at detecting stuff in tone of voice. If he/she is deaf, then show, instead. It depends how it comes across. Is it affecting anyone?

thats one of those things that is hard to determine in black and white
tone and context mean alot in american english as well as familiarity with the speaker,,,, it could be an insult, or it could be loving advice,,,,,depends |

Sounds like an insult. Everyone has an right to their own Opinion, whether they have a big mouth or not.

I'd like to add my two cents...
This is where ManO appears to say "MG, why don't you shut your big fat mouth" It's also when krupa thinks to himself "MG deserves that" Sing says "wait, I have a question for you" Leigh calls "blow them off, lets go hear some music" hippie thinks "now I can win at Last Post Wins" David ponders..... well lets be honest, what do aliens really ponder 2kids "what if this clown paint never comes off" Soufie & Kristi "lets keep on topic shall we" and...... I know, I know, ManO was right "why don't I shut my big fat mouth" |
