Okay.... I have one for you..., but it's also a riddle.... There is a perfectly round, flat island.., out in the water..., a thousand feet from any other land mass... It is exactly 50 ft. across... In the exact center of the island.., there is a perfectly straight, 100 ft. tree... How do you cut this tree down.., right at the base (nearest the ground)..., only making ONE cut to do it... and letting the tree free-fall.... ... without the tree getting wet..?

Just because the island is flat doesn't mean it isn't elevated off the water??? How tall is the flat island from the water? It could be 10 feet from the surface and branches wouldn't get wet......
