Well if a guy reads playboy and it offends his wife and she ask
him to stop then he should stop.

Playboy and Comso and 2 totally different issues there are no totally nude men in Cosmo

there is an issue with trust on his part is she is not allowed to read Cosmo it has lots of good info.

no it isnt redmond. If the woman was reading porn then maybe the husband would have a case..she is reading cosmo which is entertainment .Comparing playboy to cosmo is apples and oranges.

Cosmo and other magazines have topics that some men find offense
sexually explicit discussions and other things that traditional
men find inapproprioate for their wife to read. Just as much as the naked women in playboy.

I'm sorry, but I disagree about Cosmo & Playboy being the same. noway I think if she sits at home and takes care of all that stuff (A full time job by its self), she should have dinner ready. By no means should he DICTATE what she reads! Anoway snoway For as to the going out, girls night out and an occasional just go somewhere is great for a relationship. If ya got no trust, ya got no relationship! The biggest thing I see here is they definately need to sit down and talk. If they don't, they will only grow farther apart!!

My personal belief is that when you marry someone... you are marrying them for who they are right there and then. I think people go into marriages sometimes wanting to change someone else and I find that to be wrong. If you don't like what they do when you meet them, you have to ask yourself if you can accept them as is. Was she cooking him dinner at a certain hour before? Was she reading Cosmo before they married? Did he communicate to her all of his expectations BEFORE they married and was she in agreement?

I love old fashioned marriages as long as old fashioned doesn't mean a dictatorship where the man rules over the woman and ignores how she feels. I think it might be fun to cook with your spouse and share something fun together. I don't think I'd like it very much if my husband came home and told me I better have dinner on the table by 6 or else. I'd have to ask Where is the love in that? I think anyone would resent being told you have to cook for me because we are married. (I'm not saying that is what is happening in this case)
