Topic: A SLAYTANIC RIP TO Jeff Hanneman of Slayer | |
---|---|
Jeff died today of liver failure at the age of 49. This came out of left field, knew had an issue from a spider bite that he was recovering from so maybe it had something to do with it.

Sad day in metal. Did you hear about this church down there, can't quite remember the name of this babtist church, how they are talking about showing up at Jeff's funeral and picketing.

Sorry to hear of jeffs death.
I used to listen to Slayer when i was youger (i am now 40). I reckon the best thing they ever did was 'South Of Heaven', it's a thrash metal classic. I dont listen to much metal these days, as i have found i have gone of it as i have gone of it as i have got older. I much prefer classical and techno/trance classics. R.I.P Jeff. |

PS.
The live version of 'South Of Heaven' is the best. |

After reviewing my recent posts and listening to 'Slayer' live, apart from'South of Heaven' and 'Angel Of Death' i now think that '213' from the album 'Divine intervention' is the best.
