Why do some of the people who post here have a profile picture that is sideways? I don't really have a desire to twist my neck to see someone's profile. It may be nice on the eyes but it is bad on the neck :)

Because they were too lazy to fix it before uploading the picture.

The sad part was I thought some of those people were trying to be funny. I also am amazed at the number of people who don't smile on their profile picture. Great way to connect with others unless the mug shot style is popular these days ;)

Well, I will tell you why my pic is a no-smiler.
Every time I go to take a picture, the camera guy grabs something of mine and makes me laugh hysterically..just as I get my face back to normal, getting ready to smile, the timer goes off and I get that deer-in-the-headlights look. Sowwy :-) |

You know what I think is just as important on a profile? Under where is says Profession. I don't care if you sling burgers or are a maid at the Holiday Inn, or even if you are unemployed at the moment. It tells me if there is something you like doing and that turns you on or even if it is just a jobber- that you maintain a level of responsibility.
