The Beautiful Night

Right before
the night cast it’s shadow against the sun’s light
and right before
the last breath of wind flows across it’s fading warmth
let’s prepare
for something special

We could start
with a conversation
I don’t know
maybe even silence
because it doesn’t matter
we would be together so that’s enough said
but I want to start this night off right
wine
dinner
dessert . . . um, I’m thinking maybe you, undressed
ok, that can wait, for now at least

But right before
