once the laundry and cleaning are done, the bills already paid, adn the contract is drawn up that you will continue to do at least 50% .... or more.
then she might say yes... actually, interesting , I have read an article recently that some women eschew co-habitation for exactly this issue. it certainly is a major cinsideration for me, anyway |

A friend asked me the other day "When is it the right time to ask your girlfriend (or boyfriend) to move in with you (or you with them)? My answer was "Whenever you trick them into saying I do".  So....fellow Minglers....what would you say? I move in, only after the marriage takes place.

Where's that super bowl party going to be?  My house of course.  But you don't like the girls hangin' round...so....  Don't get me wrong now, I believe in the ability to agree to disagree. Simply because I disagree with something. Doesn't mean I hold any anger or dislike toward anyone. That would be kind of immature wouldn't it? |

I say as soon as you say I do , "they don't" Don't no, but in British Columbia we have a 6 month common law possible 3 now So all assets would be split if things didn't workout I guess u could have a legal bindings contract between to parties, like a prenuptial I personally wouldn't trust say , bogus rent receipts which may be overturned in a court of law So it would come down to geographics and what they can bring to the party in my case. Well having done the "living together" thing and finding it to be a HUGE mistake; never seen it be a total win for anyone else I know either; I would agree to the wait until you have figured out you want to and actually DONE the "I DO". Preferably with a prenup. I sure would NEVER leave my future up to the whim of a luck of the draw divorce judge. Or the fair play sense of the family/employer/business partners that invariably have to show their behinds when marriages end be it divorce or death.

After the Super Bowl. *hits record* "Note to self...Strike Jacktrades from Super Bowl party list....doesn't want your sexy, drunken friends in the way...you know, the ones who get so bored during the game, they are up for almost anything by the end of the night.  I'll be frank & ernest can I come!
