got a friend invite from someone who has never posted in the forums, as far as I can tell. He says he really needs it. I, on the other hand, like to at least see a post or two or few so I get an idea of what they are like.

He's a complete stranger, should I friend him? Why would he want to friend me? Could there be an ulterior motive is what I'm getting at.


What difference does it make? Read his/her profile and go from there. I have 3 people on my friends list who have never been on the forums .. but I accepted their invites when I first joined the site. To my knowledge they have never stalked me, or tried to hijack my emails...it has never hurt one bit to have accepted their friend invites.
