Topic: Get well soon, Mr Dick Van Dyke | |
---|---|
I guess it had to happen SOME day. We all get ill every now and then. I've just read that he is ill with undiagnosed migraines. He's had all the tests. They don't know what's up. He says the pains are keeping him awake at night :( This dude just has that special something, imho. He has done so well in life. I can't put my finger on why I like him so much. He's a breath of fresh air. Never stop smiling and laughing, Richard Wayne ;) I will keep my fingers crossed. Apologies if this post sounds so poignant, but I really admire him.

Dick Van Dyke is one of the greats. Besides Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty, one of my favorite of his films is Cold Turkey.
He has a close knit family that have worked on multiple projects together, even making a brief non-speaking cameo in his brother Jerry's sitcom Coach. |

Thanks for the replies, everyone :) I've seen a lot of his stuff. I remember seeing him in 'Diagnosis Murder'. The very first time I seen it, I didn't expect him to have grey hair. I still expected he'd be brunette . Naive, I know.

Mikey, save me a seat, for when I get there. Will there be beers?. A good laugh and party, with you and Van Dyke could be amazing. . Sorry to hear this news, Mikey. Some illnesses are way stubborn . If I take a long time getting there, I probably went for a Pizza first.

That'll be cooooooooooool :) If it's of any consolation, I could scream right now, with this damn tooth pain. I tasted oil a few minutes ago, yet there was no blood. Should I just let out a loud wail? Don't wanna scare anyone. |

Looks like my well wishes are kind of in vain. I still meant what I typed, but it's too late to wish him well now :(

Looks like my well wishes are kind of in vain. I still meant what I typed, but it's too late to wish him well now :( Umm........Just ignore this bit. I found out some newspaper website was being sensationlist, by trying to get us to think he was dying. I read his wife's Twitter, and she was telling them off. Darn journalists and their rumour's. He's had these migraines for a couple of years. Never knew. |

Realy, now I can't say nice things, ok then i'll tell this story.I hated the first movie I ever seen, back in
England when I mabee was two, Mom took me to chitty chitty bang bang and thought I would love it. This wasn't the case I freaked out and cried the hole movie, apparently. As this move became a house hold name, I would reffer to this as sh◆ty sh◆ity simplly because it was easyer to say but this would fit my initial opinion, if a baby under two has an opinion? What was mom that's thinking. Oh, and Mickie , sorry to hear that,............ ... o I like to say....f■ck em all but 6 Ya !thats right, you only need Pal Bearers in the end. Very Best, Jamie |
