Should you lie? Lying is in my opinion quite useless. Say a friend asks you if they are interesting? If you choose to lie, Simply because you don't want to offend your friend. Then you're not a very good friend are you? I'm certain they didn't ask because they wanted you to lie to them. They wanted your honest opinion, Then maybe followed by some observations you've made in regards to their concerns. Not everyone might agree with me on this, However I believe the person asking will have a deep and honored respect for you because they know you care enough to be honest. So should you lie to people just to make them feel better? |

Although some women talk about their guys mistakes not all of them do. Talking about someone ripping you off, and some guy being a jerk are 2 different things. If someone rips me off i will hide my purse from them, no matter if they give it back or not, because this establishes a lack of training and boundries. What if the person in question that rips you off, Gives you a song and dance routine. About how they needed to feed their children and how tearfully apologetic they are? That they'll never do it again. If they get on a woman's soft side she might just change her opinion of the perp. I have seen it happen in different circumstances. |

I would probably accept his apology, but i would still hide my purse and feel distrust in someway because it is the act of feeling entitled to take something from someone else no matter what the circumstance is that makes me distrustful, not the loss. I know to some this may sound self righteous and maybe it is, but i dont take other peoples things.

No you should not lie, but in some cases the blunt truth is as equally uncalled for. There is a difference between being honest and being a dick. Tact is everything. I agree with this statement |

Hell yeah you should lie. Why not? Women wear make up....they don't look like that. Bras.....their boobs don't look like that. Heels......they ain't that tall. Yet, us guys are supposed to be honest? I love it when women lie to me....ohhhh...it's so big! Oh God! You are the best! Anyone who thinks that flat out honesty is the best policy...should talk to a chameleon. Do yourself a favour....when your lover has mad bed head and funky breath...tell them..."you are sooo beautiful." They smile and feel good. What is the harm? Honesty has a time and a place. But...it ain't every time...and it ain't every place. I am willing to bet that all of you "only honest" people are single. lol I really like what Krupa has to say here, just like when you ask someone , coworker/ customer etc how are you today? Do you really fricking care to hear an hour long story about their hemorrhoids? Or do you just ask to be "polite" but then kinda run past them knowing they're about to unload on you.Actually next time you are bored out of your gourd try it when someone asks you how you are go into an hour long rant about how you feel or hey make something up just for the fun of it, watch their eyes glaze over and them try to shut you down. |

I think I might just lie, If someone went on a rant about their hemmoroids. If I asked "Hi how are you today?" I'd say something to the effect of "Um I gotta go, I just got a text message that my house is on fire. Uh buh bye."
