It was a very frightening day in Boston on Marathon Monday. I attended the Marathon because I had some friends that were running the race. I was on Boylston St. not far away from the finish line when the two bombs exploded at 2:50 pm, 10 seconds apart. When the first bomb exploded we heard the boom and saw the cloud of smoke, we also noticed debris flying around, people in the crowd were yelling, but most of us thought it was a pipeline that burst. But when the second bomb went off, everyone started scattering to the nearest buildings for safety. We later heard that the two bombs were planted in trash cans and the police were treating it as a criminal offense. The fear and terror in everyone's eyes and the noise of the explosions will never erase from my mind. In all the times I've been to Boston, I have never seen the city in lockdown and chaos. The Boston police, paramedics, firefighters, volunteers, and everyone else that responded did an amazing job at clearing the crowds and keeping us from further harm. The last I heard there were 3 deaths, including an 8 year old boy, and 148 injured. God Bless the training of everyone that was involved in the rescue!! and God Bless the victims and their families!!flowers flowers flowers flowers flowers

Yes, there was.
There was also a tragedy in most other major cities that didn't make the news.
Only reason this made national news was because a different type of weapon was used.

Let's see barry put a ban on all unregistered explosives now.

That should fix everything, no?

You can make a bomb out of everyday items. Back in high school some of the students use to make them out of the CO2 cartridge used for paintball guns. A few years back, one boy told me how he made some out of plastic soda bottle and toilet boil cleaner. A guy was arrested for using the toilet cleaner/plastic bottle bombs to scare off cats in a city.

Anyone can go to the local library and read up on physics and chemistry and learn how to make multiple bombs out of many things. Then you have those that learn by word of mouth or experimentation. But you don’t even need to go much farther then a gallon milk jug and gas, which is what Hollywood, used to make the big fireballs in their movies.

Yeah some bombs just make noise, some injury more then kill and other are intended for mass murder. In the end it would be hard to regulate because anything can be used for them. After all, some many jobs use physics and chemistry in them, from special effects to control demolition. Although many explosives are controled like TNT and C4, so you can’t just go buy it at the local store.

If you have a bit of know-how you can even make real ones, not Make-Believe ones!
The Info is all over the Internet!

one should not be upset over this "event"; by next week, some of these pro-gun groups and deniers will be proclaiming that the bombing either never took place, or was a staged govt. conspiracy with videos to supposedly prove, (like the shootings in the Connecticut school it or blame the govt. for allowing "a bunch o' fereners" sneak in the country to do it as secret govt. agents...yawn
Betcha the first ones turn up on the Rush Limbaugh or Alex Jones talk-shows...boring.

Another thing I found interesting is that King Barry showed more anger and passion about his gun bill getting blocked in the Senate then this horrible terrorist act.

They've done it before.........it may have been a terrorist strike, but the terrorists were not who it may seem.......hell there's photos of what appears to be Seals planting the bombs here.
