I always take the time to read someones profiles, which is pretty easy in a lot of cases considering half of them make up less than a sentence.

I usually just go to search and look for who is online or i search via zip code, then i read the profiles of the people that show up in my search. The match thingy has never worked for me, tends to match me with people that i do not have much in common.

I just enjoy talking to people, Then again i'm a guy. I suppose ladies have to be a little more cautious.

I read them. It only takes a moment and sometimes you learn interesting bits. I too like extreme sports like scuba and aerobatic flying. There are not too many of us around.

I used to change mine up every once in a while because I wanted to give whomever read my profile something good, funny, interesting to read. If someone was gonna click on my pic to read about me then I didn't want to disappoint them. If I click on someone's profile then I also plan to read it. As Kart stated, nowadays that isn't time consuming as most ladies do not write lengthy stuff. I also use the "ninja" style as I read in stealth mode. Oh yeah!
