I have a question - my dad rented a travel trailer to an 18 y/o punk, anyway, he didn't pay the rent, you get the drift. He broke in last night, etc. I went out there tonight and found a big plastic container of big quart sized bottles, brown glass with 'Mr. Yuk' stickers on them and a few smaller white plastic containers of Kodak finisher fluid or some such, and found a crack pipe. He is on probation and in drug court. Does this sound like meth making chemicals?? And is there a way for me to get out of the mess without it costing me a fortune for a hazardous waste cleanup, etc.??? And without them confiscating the trailer for drugs, etc.????

Anyone out there have any experience with this??? I am a total greenhorn with this. Would appreciate any help you have. Thanks much.

um... I'm not an expert on meth but... you will want to call authorities... the chemiclas alone can kill you if you breath them in a meth lab... the can also cause an explosion... don't make any kind of sparks around the trailer

If he was making meth you would smell it, but I think he is just smoking it.

dont mess with it , could make you sounds like a makeshift meth lab , let the police deal with . it could be very dangerous

If he was he got all the important **** out and your left with the trash. Wrap it up in a couble bags. Break all the bottles and just chunk it all in the trash and then just clean up your place real good. Do a spring cleaning in the fall. ou'll be fine. I knew a bunch of meth heads back in Tx and that's the best way to go about things. Unless you call his po and have them come out and get it to use against him. I don't like they'll take your trailer but rules are different in every state.

I was already out there and the trailer did NOT have any odor, and I was handling a few of the bottles, thought they were booze at first, he had all kinds of booze laying around there. My 44 y/o "unofficially adopted son" was here last night (is 6'1", about 240 pounds) and busted in on them at about 3 a.m. and made a "lasting impression" shall we say - the 18 y/o took off running down the street and the other kids were apologizing profusely. So really don't think they will be back, and told his mom I have talked to the cops and have them watching it now.

Anyways, thanks for the info, I need to get the chemicals out of there but was worried they were dangerous. He trashed it so bad, I really hate going in there at all. Thanks again.

Just went through this with a neighbor. There is one way of doing it that does not cause an odor. You need to notify the
authorities and let them handle disposal. They can not take
the trailer since the deed is not in his name. All they will
do is tear it up looking for more evidence. Either way it is
going to cost you, but you are obligated to notify them of
your suspicions or you can get in trouble. The way the laws
read really make you wonder sometimes.

I have been told if I notify the health department it is a mandatory $7500 for a hazardous waste cleanup. We don't have that kind of money - hell the trailer isn't worth that much money. And if they are not the right kind of drugs either, I don't even know if they are or not. Stupid little punk, just made a mess out of everything, and trashed it big time too.

Wait until you know he is back in there, and call the police as he THEN will have been told by THEM to leave and arestted for trespass, if YOU want,,, and then if THEY suspect drugs they will look and find and charge HIM, but if he was making HE PROBABLY would have blown his azz up by NOW,lol,lol,

Just talked to his "mommy" again - she said he was given some camera equipment and they are for a dark room - so could be, I hope so. But still the crack pipe is an issue. She said to throw it out. I really want to give it to his probation officer. She is covering for his butt of course. "He has never done THAT!!!" Yeah, right. He is an only child and her baby, is in anger management classes because of something he did against her, too.

I have more than a pest, I am glad Russ was here last night. Guess the kid about pee'ed his pants when Russ whipped that door open to the trailer and asked him who the hell he was. Russ was standing there with his arm leaning on the door jamb. Nick told him who he was and Russ told him he had no business being there because he hadn't paid the rent and Nick ran underneath his arm and took off up the street. Russ said he wanted to tell him he was "gonna kick his ass and then call the cops." I wish he would have. Russ has the long hair and old biker look to him. Should have had the video camera, could have made some money on Funniest Home Videos, dang.

I would say just take them out & dump them.. maybe on some stuborn tree you wanna kill!!
Just don't mix them & maybe hold a cloth over your face...
It's not likely anything will happen with them. They blow up when they mix them wrong..
alot of the time they use like the 2 liter soda bottles for the oil. thats what they get out of the pills to make it..

So just dump them in differnt places leave the lids off. You could save the pipe to call his PO if he comes back & gives you any trouble.. change the locks if you can & post a note on the door in big letters telling him its all gone & you will call PO to kick rocks!!
& the mom isn't going to do you any good... & of course he's going to BS her about the stuff..
A crack pipe is normally metal with steel wool in it or that brass scrubby stuff.
A speed pipe is glass.. if you can see thru the glass the dope will look like shards, kinda starry snow flakes..
If they busted him with chemicals he would get alot of time just for conspericy (sp) to manufacture & they can get him for that with just finger prints on the bottles..

Clean your trailer & look in weird places on it, for stash spots..

Thanks Catch, I am going to ditch the chemicals this weekend, and told his mom I have the cops watching the trailer and have given the cops his name. They told me since he had paid rent the month before that it becomes civil and you have to go through the eviction process. But, it will be cleaned out this weekend, his mom and her friend promised to clean it out -and since my dad signed it over to my brother, it becomes his problem and he needs to get his carcass over here to get it out of here. I am tired of dealing with it. This is the 2nd punk my dad has rented it to, and nothing but problems.
