How do you stop things from being boring ?

the longest relationship I've been in was 21+ years

I'm never bored - my mind is always on speed dial...I watch films to make it relax

A couple years.

You have to be adventurous. You can't take her or the relationship for granted and just let it sit there like a frying egg. You have to sometimes spice things up, or try new things otherwise you give the appearance it is you who is uninterested.

30 years
Not sure if we did anything special from keeping it boring. All I know is that we weren't bored.

Not sure if you are counting marriage years or not... was married for 10 years...

Then I dated a guy for 12 years....

You keep it from being boring by not being a couch potato. There's plenty to do in this world.

ten years is the longest...being spontaneous open minded and willing to try new things including bad cooking :)

We weren't bored. He had his interest and I had mine. We shared our lives and introduced each other to different things.
I grew up traveling, he didn't, so I loved taking him on road trips to surrounding cities and states. He grew up in a small town and his family had a farm, so we spent a couple of weekends on his family farm

He played golf, no interest on my part, so I encouraged him to go play with his friends, while I went with my girlfriends to Vegas for shopping etc.

You have to be willing to let each person be themselves, you have to be willing to try new and/or different things, you have to trust, you have to be willing to give each other some space so you can appreciate your time together.
