Hm, I've never thought about it. I generally try to maintain eye contact whenever I converse with someone.

Like should be =D Being interested in the essence of the person and what he/she says.

Well her smile can also be bewitching and hold my attention when we are chatting... but otherwise it is all down to her personality and how well we are communicating. I find that if we are unable to do that, we have nothing in common and as such no attributes she may have helps.

Yeah, I agree.

Personally, I admit that my subconscious automatically search for the features that I like in men, not in a perv way or doing a complete check up like several mention, but I know for example that I like pretty eyes and contagious smiles, so if I´m going on a date with somebody I would seek for that plus the great personality.

Thanks. I know it's more welcoming and inviting for me when the person I'm talking to is making eye contact with me. Makes me feel like they're tuned in and interested in what I have to say. And I want people to think I'm interested in them.

Interesting topic
For me it's the hands...of course I will focus on eyes and lips while conversing, but when given a chance, will look at the hands.
Perhaps that comes from ASL being my first language though.

Hands! That´s different too, but I get what you mean, I took a course of basic ASL some time ago and it does change your perspective in some things.

Also the hand of a man say so much of him too.

I check out her wardrobe. If the purse and shoes don't match the outfit, then come on! How can a man date a woman with poor matching taste? laugh

During the first date, men last 1.1 seconds of seeing his date´s eyes, 0.85 seconds admiring her hair, and almost seven seconds looking at her lips (according to studies done by the University of Manchester).

Can this be true? I don´t know. What do you look more (or just look) of the girl on a first date, guys?

If it was me, I would look if she has personality or not. If she does, I would go for the 2nd date

STOP LOOKING AT MY........lips?

Really?

Why is it that lips are rarely what men make comments about then? Do they somehow believe complimenting our azzes to be less intimate or forward than saying we have nice lips?

On second thought, "you have pretty lips" MAY be a bit too "Deliverance" for most. slaphead

I compliment women on their lips/mouth. The facial expressions I've received from doing this would make a great YouBoob video.

I know a guy who is obsessed with commenting on a girls feet and toes. He gets really frustrated when going on dates and they wear closed toe shoes. I went on a double blind date with him once and it led to a very long silence when he mentioned how amazing her toes were and how he loved the perfection in her nails. surprised

Well it would be one quick way of figuring out if you are dating a possible cannibal.

"You have a pretty nose. Is it edible?"
