we're talking about ppl 300+ pound , not someone 10 pounds overwight... earlier u said it doesnt bother anyone if someone is obese.. my response was i dont think their family members would i agree with you.

what do u think is causing the weight probelm in america more so than anywhere else, dont say fast food because they have been around forever.. How did u go from being thin in the 70s, to the health craze of the 80s, to its my right to be a heart attack waiting to happen?

Hi my name is Kim & I'm a foodaholic, who is also obese...do they have FAA (Food Addicts Anonymous) somewhere out there? I have yet to find any support groups that actually want to "help" food addicts, for those who can't afford joining Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, etc. Secondly, where are the healthy fast food restaurants that offer a $1 menu board, like McDonald's, Wendy's, Hardee's, etc, offer??

It's all a government conspiracy to make us all fat so we can die young & then they (this wonderful government that we the people have chosen) won't have to worry about that one important thing that most @ my age, worry about when we retire...social security.

And this is my opinion on that. Yes, I know, opinions are like assholes & everyone has one.

I have always ate a see food diet...and never gain an ounce...lol. But, I sympathize with ppl who have weight gain problems. An interesting timeline to compare is the rise in the use of corn sweetners instead of sugar in foods overlaid with the timeline of increased obesity in the US. It is amazing that they increase virtually in lockstep. Doesn't prove a thing, but is an interesting overlay. Maybe one of you folks is more knowlegeable on this topic?

sassy, i agreed with ur statement 100%! i also think its a form of population control. its seem like a more and more people are coming down with cancer, 1 in 6 men will have prostate cancer, colon cancer seems to be on the rise, breast cancer is running rampant...

from my sport background i know steroids abuse increases your risk for certains cancers like prostate, and breast cancer...

its also a fact the cows and chicken are being injected with some form of steroids.

a diet low in fiber can cause colon cancer.

when food is process a alot of the natural fibers are remove to add in preservatives(spelling), which are to give the food a longer shelf life.

30-40 years agos to have cancer was a rare thing. Well, now everyone knows someones who been touch by it.
