Topic: Being in love | |

I have heard stories of this kind but not encountered one until recently. A guy I know falls head over heels with a woman. They were as happy as you cant imagine. After 3 years, the couple split with 'irreconcilable differences'. Then 2,3 days go by and he does unbelievable thing. He starts killing her family one by one.
This is what i dont get. If things dont work out between the two, why take it to the family, friends and so on? |

That's not the thinking/head of a normal person You don't say. He was a loony. He was mental. He was insane. Why are you trying to make sense of something that crazy people do as if they are thinking like "normal" people? He probably did have a serious mental illness andhe he was certainly a psychopath. Have you any experience with mentally ill people? They do not think rationally, so it is quite idle to try to make sense of what they do. |

Anyway, without knowing more about this particular case we can't really know what he was thinking. It is possible that he believed that the family and friends were the ones that turned her against him.

Btw whatever the case he shouldnt go murder ppl for the sake of love |

omg! talk about rage that man was angry and certainly wanted to hurt her by killing her family otherwise he would have just killed her, and he is obviously deranged to boot, hope they lock him up and throw away the key

and by the way that is not love , that is pure hatred, you dont hurt people you love, they obviously fell.out of love at some point before they broke up

Btw whatever the case he shouldnt go murder ppl for the sake of love I don't think that you are going to get any argument there and being insane or being drunk or anything like that is not a justification for anything. It is merely an explanation because you seem to want to know why someone would do an insane thing and I told you that it is because they are insane. Hope that shed some light on it and that you understand it now. |

Like TwatStrat said, he's not 'normal'. I know that you desire to understand, but rational logic goes out the window when you are talking about someone who deviates from the social norms. *hugs* |

I know that you desire to understand, but rational logic goes out the window when you are talking about someone who deviates from the social norms. *hugs* Well, I don't know if I would necessarily put it that way. I did read a short story by Fritz Leiber once where everyone had some sort of mental illness and the one person that didn't was considered to be the oddball. Without knowing the details of this case I think it is probable that this person was paranoid and psychotic. Such people are delusional and they do not make rational judgements. It isn't about following rules and conforming to society. You can be a non conformist without being a dangerous lunatic. In some cases it can be the people that go along with the "social norms" that are the loonies. |

I agree with what has already been said, you cannot find a rational answer to such an evil crime, the man is a murderer. I am very sorry that he was once a friend of yours. |

Some people can't take rejection and will hurt you as badly as they can.
