I beleive in a marriage who makes what is irrelevant. When I was married everything went into the same account, no matter who made what. to me marriage means 2 become 1 you don't care where it came from as long as everyone in the family is taken care of.

2 may become 1 but it seems to me that most marriages are either matriarcal or patriarcal ( probably didn't spell those right) Somone will uasually dominate, and probably won't willingly give it up. I think that is when it could cause problems because the fact that money disparity becomes another tool to use either way.

I could careless who makes the most money, as long asboth of us are happy and our children are taken care of.
I have never really had that come up, I have always made enough money to take care of mine, never asked my significant other to work, that was always their choice, if they did, it just made life a little easier, just as long as we were happy |

It's bad...but I made more than double my husband when we were together. That was fine with me...until I became a paycheck. Then it was sad...and one of the reasons for my pending divorce.

it never has botherd me i like to see women excel and better them selfs i shoot lots of pics of racing and in the last 3 yrs here in the northwest women have kicked some serious a** in racing
