How do I get out of this website? I just don't think it's right for me. In other words... no luck

Ahhh, these are the simplest of forums to use.

Beneath every post (and at upper and lower right hand sides)
are the 'Reply' links, also 'Quote' links or 'Report' links,
everything you need to add your comment to a forum post.

If you wish to start a thread, which you already have,
the link is on the upper right of each forum.

All I use is: http://mingle2.com/forum/recent_posts
which shows all the current posts/threads.

It is like driving a car.
First time seems scary.
After that, ho hum.
