Topic: Is that true? | |
---|---|
A man snatches the first kiss, pleads for the second, demands the third, accepts the fourth - and endures all the rest. Is that true? And, How do you see this?

Say what? This is the first I heard of that.

He's quoting journalist/author, Helen Rowland. She wrote "A Guide to Men", which was the companion work of a book about women bachlors...forget the name of that book...among others.
I don't recall much of her work. The one thing that stuck with me was her definition of flirting as being the art of making a man feel good about himself. I can't agree with her muses on kissing. I've known too many times they seemed plenty eager for ALL of them. |

She's no doubt just not a very good kisser or has bad breath or something.

I think what she's saying is that the romance a man uses to gain a womans attention turns into the duty he has to perform in order to keep her.

How about this. She thinks that men view kissing as a means to an end and women want the kisses to fill out the middle.
