youth refers to the 'younger' ones, best said the younger generation, as in the oens which have not been fully educated yet over all aspects of life etc..

18-40 that is because at 18 the law says you are an adult, and msot peopel consider themselves old when they are 40... youth dont have no age limit, its all in ones mind... you can get a 40 year old who is dumber than an 19year old harvard student.... the 40 year old one will be the so called youth!!!
