Ahh... Someone looking for the answer to that age old question: "Why are we here??"
Well, at least this time the question is limited to the forums, which, while not as philosophical, could be just as important. As it is in all cases, I can only speak for myself - because for all I know, none of you people actually exist. I am here because I made a promise to a friend. I promised that I would try to find someone. As I have kept every promise I've ever made (which is why the come so rarely from me), I have no choice but to continue the search until such time as someone is found. I'm not certain what is supposed to take place after said event, but that is not really my concern. I am only responsible for the finding. So, here I am, gleaning conversations, adding occasional whit, sarcasm and observations where I am able, in vain hope that someone takes enough notice that I may consider them "found." I will admit, I should have gotten a much more precise definition of what "finding someone" really meant, for all I know, I could have been done with this years ago!! |

Hi Winlei...  you're a rare gem to find, and any man would be lucky to have your hand... just be very careful with whoever you meet online, and don't develop any true feelings until you actually see them face to face. You will be spared much emotional pain this way... the mystery is nice until it becomes reality... then it's completely different... especially if their profile pictures don't look like who they are today... people will do and say anything to get what they want... so again, just be careful, and keep having fun on the boards... you have a clever mind, and I'm sure you know how to use it too...

Second that my young sweetie-pie, and I might add that you ask them to communicate with you through skype. You are way to cute to be too trusting, and that comes from some one that believes in throwing caution to the wind. In your case though you could have a lot of guys trying to fool you with their story and not the real deal. I would have a little hedge of friends on here to look out for you. People like Athena who would watch your back. Some of the guys are cool ( no offence guys) but made up of mostly gal friends. |
