ohwell Havent been there in awhile. I usually always get up to anything but do you think i heard my phone today??? Next time i will just have to set my alarm. I really wanted to go. This brings up a good topic....How come when you have somewhere that you want to go with friends etc you can get up with no problem. You sometimes even get up before an alarm wakes you up. When its church or an activity...you sleep in or your late...that stuff has got to end and i realize that. I guess there is someone else working against me...if you know what i mean, idk if i can say that on the post...its not God, i can tell you that. grumble

u can still beleive in god heaven and hell right ang wrong and not go to church as long as you do have some morals and values in your life, then it shouldnt matter how you choose to show you belief!

If you see going to church as a chore or a duty you are somehow on the wrong planet.
If you really believed in whatever they are preaching there it wouldn't be a duty that you wake up to late for.
Maybe you should take a sabbatical and think about it.

I find that if I think too much about how something is 'the right thing to do' a part of my mind sets up a resistance to it, even if I do sincerely -want- to do it, absent all those thoughts.

If I simply focus on how I enjoy doing the right thing, and allow for myself that -its also okay if I don't-, then the 'right' actions come easily and without resistance.

I'm not assuming these thoughts are related to yours, Rowdy... but I'm sharing them in case they are.

I agree with invisible.
If u go to church as a chore something is not right.
Church services, activities, or volunteering must be something that comes naturally.
